Our Stay n' Train program is a unique, in-home alternative to a traditional board & train. Instead of your dog staying at a facility, I stay in your home while you’re away, giving your dog the opportunity to learn and practice new skills in the environment they know best.
Our Stay n' Trains include all of the aspects of our Pet Sitting services, plus one-on-one training, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re learning and being cared for right at home.

Your dog's Stay n' Train will be 100% personalized for them and their needs. We adjust our schedules to adhere to your dogs normal routine to help minimize added stress and anxiety, and will make sure that they are receiving all of the usual love and care that you show them. We are suckers for snuggles, and really do love all of our clients like our own dogs!
Stay n' Trains give your dog the best of both worlds. They will receive focused training sessions that have been tailored to fit your training goals, all from the comfort of their own home. This will help reduce their stress and anxiety, and hopefully yours too!

Your dog will learn new skills in their normal environment, which is where they will actually use them. They will have one-on-one training throughout their day, and we will spend time integrating their new skills and behaviours into their day-to-day life. This will ease the transition once your get home, and help maintain their learning.
After the stay
Keep the momentum going!
A Stay’n Train is a great way to jumpstart your dog’s training and make meaningful progress in a short period of time, but the work doesn’t end when the stay is over. The skills your dog learns need to be practiced and reinforced consistently at home to become reliable parts of their everyday life.

Throughout the stay, we will keep detailed notes on your dog's progress, including what we worked on, which strategies were most effective, and which areas need a little bit more practice. After the stay, you will receive a detailed training report on everything we worked on, along with personalized recommendations, exercises, and activities that you can incorporate into your day-to-day life.
To help make the transition as seamless as possible, every Stay n' Train package also includes a 1-hour follow-up training session, either virtually or in-person. During this session, we will review the skills your dog as learned, practice them together, answer any questions you may have, and ensure that you feel confident continuing the work on your own.

There is also the option of added training sessions after the stay to help maintain the progress and advancing your dog's new skills.
