Emma has loved animals for as long as she can remember and grew up with multiple dogs and cats. In 2022, she applied for a dog daycare job on a whim, and it completely changed her path.​

While working in dog daycare, Emma learned about dog behaviour, enrichment, cooperative care, and R+ training.

Around the same time, her French bulldog began struggling with health and behavioural challenges, which pushed Emma to start applying what she was learning at home. That’s when her passion for dog training really took off.

Emma began dog walking and sitting  for daycare clients, slowly growing her client base. In 2025, she launched Milo & Co, named after the dog who introduced her to a whole new side of dog care and training.

Wanting to offer the best support possible, Emma completed the Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner program and became a certified dog trainer in January 2026, and became a Certified Trick Dog Instructor in April 2026. She’s excited to help dogs and their people build happier, more connected lives.
